Sister Aishah's Islamic Journey - May the Peace and Blessings of Allah be Upon You. I made a decision on April 19, 2002 to embrace Islam and I began to document my journey in a series of personal reflections. Here is where you'll find a few of the things that aren't on the website, with a little activism thrown in for good measure.

My Journey as a Muslimah (Sumayah Fayed) - Salaam Walakium Rahamatullah Wa'Baraketuh I hope inshallah this reaches you in the best of health and iman. I made my decision on January 3, 2003 to embrace Islam. My life changed tremendously after my reversion. This blog will include many things that I have seen or experienced as a Muslim. As an aspiring writer I will include articles, poems and essays about the things that affect the Muslim community. I hope that we benefit from this blog and may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon you.
Pen in a Bottle (Nancy B.) - In 1985 I found my work to be childish. I adopted the philosophical view that maturity comes at the age of 35. I bunged my pen into a bottle with a cork, so to speak, and threw it out onto the sea of life. I stopped writing and turned to photography and other arts to explore my creativity. In 2003, when I turned 37, I found my pen beached on my desk, ready to use. Actually, it looks more like a computer keyboard, but that is ok. I returned to writing with fervour. It takes a while to coax the writer out but I have succeded. Enjoy the site.

Maria Zain - www.mariazain.blogspot.com I'm a freelance thinker, currently part timer at best... I'm working my way to being a full time freelance thinker, what do you think about that? Trust me, there is such a thing. However, it may take me a while to get there, but until then, I guess can only spare you part of my brain.
